Stellar Current Report

Editorial policy

Stellar Current Report aims to make astronomy engaging without sacrificing accuracy. We separate established explanations from uncertainty, write for general readers, and correct material errors openly.

Accuracy and context

We check factual claims against reliable, relevant references before publication and take care with dates, terminology, and descriptions of visible events. When a subject is uncertain or a view depends on time and location, we say so rather than implying that every reader will see the same thing.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. Any paid, gifted, or otherwise partner-supported material is clearly labelled where it appears. A partnership does not guarantee favourable editorial coverage, and readers should be able to distinguish it from independent editorial work.

Corrections and updates

If a published article contains a significant error, we review the issue and correct it. Where a change affects the meaning of a piece, we make the update clear to readers. Readers are welcome to send corrections through the Contact page with the article title and the detail in question.

Illustrations

Illustrations are used to clarify or evoke a subject, not to stand in for observational evidence. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; they should not be treated as documentary images or precise representations of celestial objects.
