Write for us
We welcome considered pitches that help general readers observe the sky, understand recurring celestial patterns, or follow the history of astronomy. Proposals are sent through the Contact page.
Topics that fit
Strong proposals have a clear subject, a defined reader question, and a useful angle within skywatching, celestial cycles, stargazing, observation, or cosmic history. We value pieces that explain, compare, or give readers a thoughtful way to notice something for themselves.
A useful pitch
Briefly describe the proposed piece, its central idea, why it suits Stellar Current Report, and any relevant experience or sources you would draw on. A finished draft is not needed for an initial proposal. Please flag claims that depend on a particular date, location, or viewing condition.
Care and clarity
Write in a measured, accessible voice and distinguish direct observation from interpretation. Avoid inflated promises, unsupported certainty, and material that requires readers to treat an illustration as evidence. We consider original work and do not promise publication or a response time.
How to send it
Send your proposal through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include your name and a way to reply in the form; do not send confidential material or assume a pitch has been accepted until we agree to it.
